Obituary For Frances Clark

Ms. Frances Carolina Clark, 53, of Lawndale, NC passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Atrium Health in Pineville, NC. She was born on June 7, 1967 in Cleveland County, NC to Leila Odoms Clark and the late Lewis Calvin Clark.

Frances was a 1985 graduate of Burns High School. While having worked a variety of jobs, she was last employed with Cleveland Pines as a dietary aide until her health declined. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lawndale.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Clark.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Leila Mae Clark of Shelby; two sons, Lucentio Clark (Tianna) of Lawndale, NC and Morrio Clark (Chinetta) of Kingstown, NC; Reiko Clark of Lawndale who was like a son to her; one brother, Anthony Clark of Lawndale; two sisters, Jo Ellen Bradshaw of Lawndale and Lisa Jean Clark of Shelby; five grandchildren, LyQuez Clark, RyQuez Clark, Nasir, Amir and A’Ariona; one great-grandchild, Kasani Clark; two aunts and one uncle, Annie Mae Ussery of Lawndale, Julia Mae Clark Smith of Shelby and A.C. Haynes of Lawndale; special friend, Steve Wells of Lawndale; caregiver, Shay Jefferies and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services for Ms. Clark will be private. The family will be receiving friends from 3:30 PM until 4:00 PM at First Baptist Lawndale on Saturday, April 17, 2021 and other times at the home of her son, Morrio Clark, 107 Geneva Lane, Shelby. Burial will take place at Pine Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
