A celebration of life for George Edison “Eddie” Fisher, Jr., 70, will be held 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Gatewood Park pavilion 2 in Cartersville, Georgia. All family and friends are invited. We were so blessed to be in his life. Services will be conducted by Warren Holbrook and Frankie Pratt. His final resting place will be at Macedonia Church.
Mr. Fisher was preceded in passing by his father, George Edison Fisher; mother, Grace Fisher; a daughter, Laura Charlana Teems; a niece, Trina Shantal Holbrook; a sister-in-law, Connie Jean Gregg; and mother-in-law, Margaret Holbrook. Eddie is survived by his wife, Tammy Holbrook Fisher; two sons, Johnathon Lee Teems and George Edison “Trey” Fisher, III; a daughter, Brandi Frazier Teems; two brothers, Jeff Fisher and Mike Fisher; In-laws, Warren and Beverly Holbrook of Summerville, Georgia, Frankie and Ann Pratt of Adairsville, Georgia, Stanley and Cindy Holbrook of Adairsville, Georgia and Kim Fisher of Talladega, Alabama; grandchildren, Clayton Teems and Seth Teems of Missouri, Kaylee Teems, Johnathon Teems, Jr., Jason Wahl and Emma Wahl of Talladega, Alabama; and a host of many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; special friends, Early and Kim Lanham of Cartersville, Georgia and Wren and Georgia Cooley of Talladega, Alabama.
Eddie fought in the Vietnam War and was so proud to serve his country. He was loved and respected by all who truly knew him. He is walking the streets of gold today with God!
