Obituary For Mr. Bernard Stephens

Mr. Bernard Stephens entered into rest Saturday, April 10, 2021 at University Hospital.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Road, Augusta, Georgia. Entombment to follow immediately after the service.

Bernard Stephens Born in North Augusta, South Carolina, to the late Willie Lucious Stephens and Catherine Dore. At an early age, he accepted Christ and joined the First Providence Baptist Church. Later he attend Greater Young Zion Baptist Church.

Left to treasure precious memories of Bernard’s life are: daughters, Barbara Stephens McCottrell, Diane Stephens, and Stephanie Blakley, all of Philadelphia, PA; grandsons, Ellis Daivd McCottrell, II of Columbus, GA, and Tyree Stephens of Philadelphia, PA; grandchildren, Taji Stephens and Jaliyah McCottrell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
