Viewing rites for Mr. Ed Willie Gilmore will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021, at the Hazlehurst Funeral Home in Hazlehurst, MS from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m.. Graveside services will be Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hazlehurst City Cemetery. Internment will follow immediately.

I will never forget how you opened your door for Rob, Cherrie, and I after hurricane K left us with nowhere to live. Everyone was scrambling looking for somewhere to live. You gave up not only your bed, but you turn over the entire house to me and my family! You took the back room and allowed me to live in your house as though it was my own. Your kind humble spirit was like no other! It was Rob and I desire to give it all back to you in any way possible and I certainly tried. You are at rest now. You rest well! All is well now!!
