My condolences to the family. No words can describe the sadness I am feeling. Although we had not seen each other in many years, when I learned of your passing I was speechless. Our acquaintance began back in the 80's when we were dating and married two sisters. We became good friends and spent many days and evenings relaxing, chatting about our future and having fun. You had an outward friendly spirit that everyone who came in contact with you warmed up to. You were always there to support your family and friends and would not hesitate to call them out if they stepped out of line. I recall your car back than that had a talking alarm system. Soon after you installed it I can over one evening and when I walked pass the car it told me in a deep voice to step away from the car. I jumped back in fright! You laugh so hard!! What a laugh you had!! I am proud to have had you as a brother-in-law!! I am comforted by the knowledge you made your call and election sure by accepting the Lord as your personal savior! To your family, I express my deep hearted condolences during this time. May the Lord comfort you and be your source of strength Rest In Peace My Brother I look forward to seeing you at the second coming of our Lord

Oscar, where do I begin. I love you. I miss you. Heaven has definitely gained an angel. We've shared so much throughout the 15 years I've known you. From Running Dogz Records to Sunday dinners, we celebrated birthdays, babies, graduations, and family together. The kids adore you. We would act like silly teenagers just to make each other laugh. Your smile was mesmerizing. I will hold on to our memories and will never forget what you told me. Thank you for loving me. My LOVE for you will never, ever die. Till we meet again. Lisa (My Sasse')

Sending prayers up for the family. I work with Oscar at Adtran. He will truly be missed. He was always aggravating someone and kept us laughing. I am gonna miss you saying "Last Call" at 4:00 everyday. Sometimes I would get to my desk and see some butter rum lifesavers he would surprise me with that was our favorite. He was a good person and always supported his coworkers when they like myself had death in the family. Take your rest it won't be the same. Heaven has gained another angel.

I worked in the same building with Oscar at Adtran for 3 years before I retired. I saw Oscar each day with this big grin on his face. Usually, it was because he was aggrivating someone. He was a fun loving person. He was also a man of God. He visited our Church New Jerusalem MB Church for Revival each year for many years. That's where I first saw him. In my conversations with him, he was not shy about sharing his faith in Christ. This helped me understand the joy in his heart that showed on his face and through his actions. My prayers for his family. I pray that God will comfort and give them strength to endure this sudden and tragic loss. Ceola Steele
