Clayton A. Whittington

Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ welcomed his beloved son Clayton into his presence on April 3, 2021 to dwell throughout all eternity. Clayton was a member of his childhood place of worship The Greater Bush Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he served as an usher. Even though our hearts are grieved our spirits are buoyed by the knowledge that he is now experiencing what God's word says: Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him (1 Corinthians 2:9) We celebrate because he has been released from the trials, tribulations, pain and suffering of this world.

He leaves to cherish his memories of a spirit of goodness, compassion, helpfulness and love, his mother, Joyce W. Porterfield, daughter, Moshonda Gaston, sisters Valerie (Lester) Upton, Tanya (Glen) Hudson, Shannon Whittington and Terri (Kenneth) Blakely, is three grandchildren, one great grandchild, the Willis and Porter family

His place of solitude and peace were experienced on the banks of the river fishing, and a private memorial service will be held at such place.
