Doretha Hampton, 84, of Stoneville, NC died April 14, 2021. A public viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 7:30 pm Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Perry- Spencer Funeral Home, Madison, NC. A private service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2021.

Doretha was born June 22, 1936 in Greensboro, NC. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary Wilson. She departed this life on April 14, 2021. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Peter Hampton, Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her son; Peter Hampton, Jr., two grandsons; Willie Hampton, Jr. (Regina) and David Hampton, four great grandchildren; Shareeka McCullough, Icycess Hampton, Lydcije Hampton, Dayunta Lane, two great great granddaughters; Nizaya Lane, Nami Hampton, two sisters, one brother and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
