Obituary For Mrs. Patricia Clark Augustine

Patricia Clark Augustine was born on September 24, 1960 and departed this life April 14, 2021.

She was employed at the University Hospital for almost forty years.

Pat, affectionately known as Ms. Pat was truly a gift to all she met. Every patient, staff member, and even strangers spoke of her caring and spiritual attitude. Pat helped people not only in her department but throughout the hospital and her community. Anyone who knew Pat knew she was not about tears and or sadness but living life to the fullness and having a good time.

She is survived by her loving husband Walter Augustine, Jr.; children, Dwan (Charles) Johnson and Walter (Monica) Augustine, III; one grandson Mihkeal Sims, Jr., anyone who knew Pat knew him to be her Nugget-MJ and she was his Big Mama, they spent much time together and she loved him dearly. Siblings, Ida (John) Moore, Veronica (Ricky) Stone all of Augusta. Audrey (Charles) Smitz Reno, Nevada, Rosa (Ronald) Myers Charlotte, NC, and Patricia Walker (affectionately, mama Pat) Augusta, GA. Others are to include nephews, nieces, a host of cousins, & close friends.

She was a member of the Mount Calvary Baptist Church Augusta, GA were Rev. DR. Clyde Hill, Sr. is pastor.

The family wishes to thank everyone for any act of kindness shown during Pat’s illness and her passing. A special thanks goes out to Dr. Jones and the entire X-RAY department of the University Hospital for the love you displayed throughout Pat’s career and this most difficult time. And the staff on the third floor CCU unit of Doctor’s Hospital and Heartland Hospice we want to thank you for the excellent care given to this our dear loved one, your kindness will never be forgotten.

The family wants you to remember Patricia as you knew her, therefore there will be no service of any kind this comes as a request of the deceased.

My husband, Dr. Dan Duggan, took me often to the X-RAY department and Ms. Pat was always there. She always hugged me and spoke fondly of my husband. We will miss her. She was such a wonderful woman. Patti Duggan
