Marvin Allen Wallace, affectionately known as “PY” was born March 8, 1954 to the late Marvin “Shot” Wallace and Martha Adams Wallace. He departed this earthly life on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia, NC.

He was always a hard worker who worked for several furniture companies, enjoyed installing furniture, arts and crafts, listening to music and fishing. He was an avid Carolina Panthers fan. Marvin had a good heart and was always willing to help others. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Martha Adams Wallace and Marvin “Shot” Wallace; one son: Little Marvin Wallace; three sisters: Barbara Wallace, Rosa Lee Cook Floyd, and Judy Adams: three brothers: James “Bo Diddley” Adams, Donald Ray “Shakey Baby” Wallace and, Johnnie Lewis Wallace; one nephew: Richard Wallace.

He leaves to cherish his memories: two sons: Jerome (Tinelle) Wallace of Gastonia, NC and Quinton Wallace of Clover, SC; one daughter: Charity Warren of Gastonia, NC; two brothers: Ronald Wallace (Margie) of Shelby, NC and Jeffrey (Bernice) Wallace of Albany, GA; two sisters: Jocelyn Smith of Dallas, NC and Shirley Adams of Clover, SC, one aunt: Georgia Mae Setzer, one uncle: James “Sonny Boy” Setzer; six grandchildren; caregiver and special friend: Patricia Bell, sister-in-law: Brenda Wallace and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
