Richard Lee Ivory “Shine” was born April 20, 1956 in Crystal Springs, MS. to the late Onna Rae Ivory and Prentiss Ivory, Sr. At an early age he confessed Christ, and was a member of New Pisgah M.B. Church in Crystal Springs, MS. Richard was educated in the Copiah County School System. In 1980 he married Robie Skaggs and to that union he had two daughters, Tiffany Skaggs Collins and Quaila Skaggs. In 1985, he married Arnither Crysler Soleman. Richard is preceded in death by both parents, Onna Rae and Prentiss Ivory, Sr., one sister, Leonia Mae Ivory, two brothers: Eugean Ivory and Ivory Carter. Richard leave to cherish his memories, his lovely wife, Arnither Ivory; his children: Tiffany (Calvin) Collins of Crystal Springs, MS and Quaila Skaggs of Nashville, TN; one step son, Larry (Felicia) Crisler of Arlington, TX; three sisters: Deloise (Lawyer) Davis of Crystal Springs, MS; Annette (Roosevelt) Davis of Terry, MS and Lisa Carter of Hazlehurst, MS; two brothers: Prentiss (Lisa) Ivory, Jr. of Crystal Springs, MS and Ray Allen (Lela) Tillman of Detroit, MI; one brother-in-law, Larry (Ruby Lynn) Hillard of Orangeburg, SC; two grandchildren: Chazwan Skaggs and Terinesha Young; four step grandchildren: Alisha Dixon, Kierra Crisler, Jameka Wilson and Jeremy Swam, and a host of relatives and friends.
