Oh man..... What can I say? Can't find the words to properly comfort you. I don't even know whether or not that they even exist. I can say with assurances that she raised a fine, thoughtful, wise and insightful woman. Roger

I remember Ida Kate as an older beautiful and stylish cousin that left the country with her younger sister Jeanette to live in the big city. To me, that was a big deal! I always looked forward to Kate's trips home where she would accompany her dad into town. Although her dad did not stop by our house, I can remember sitting on the front porch and listening to the greetings and laughter shared between cousins and our Aunt Betty. I am sorry that I cannot be there to comfort you. I would like to share the following poem with Kate's daughter, granddaughter, sisters, nieces and nephews. Love, Beckie Dunn A Silent Tear Author Unknown Just close your eyes and you will see All the memories that you have of me. Just sit and relax and you will find I'm really there inside your mind. Don't cry for me now I'm gone For I am in the land of song. There is no pain, there is no fear So dry away that silent tear. Don't think of me in the dark and cold For here I am, no longer old. I'm in that place that's filled with love Known to you all as 'up above.'
