Coach, You were a wonderful human being. I learned so much from you and I will forever cherish the 4 years we spent together at Alcorn State. You were truly one of the kindest and generous individuals I have ever met. Keep smiling down on us and encouraging us with your legacy of service. You gave so much to so many and touched many lives, including mine. I am eternally grateful to you. Rest easy Coaach Herm. We love, respect and admire you. Stephen G. Hall, PhD

Coach Herm was a great coach, father and mentor. He always gave the best, straight-forward advice. I'll remember all of our talks and everything I learned. God makes no mistakes and I'm glad to have known him for the time I did. Forever in my heart πŸ’œ-SCW

Saturday and Sunday were our hang-out days. We shared so many fun times together for 6 years. Who am I supposed to hang out with now? Selfishly, I wish we had 45 more years of shenanigans together. I'll miss my buddy, and it'll take time to adjust ... it seems so quiet already. However, I'm blessed to have the memories & will try to share them in stories only HALF as eloquently as he could!! Love you, "CO... you really are a Superstar! πŸ’«πŸ’™
