Officer Armando Mendoza, age 22, of Riverdale, Georgia entered into rest on April 19, 2021.

I just recently came to know Armando, & immediately knew he was a young man of great character. At Plaza Gourmet he served with a smile & pride... quick to recommend his favorite menu options 😊 I'm sure he served Clayton County in the same manner! He will certainly be missed. I'm praying healing, peace, & love for his parents & family.

Officer armando was a brother, a great friend, and an officer and had a heart of servant leadership in everything he did. God bless his soul, and may his legacy live on for generations to come. I will never forget the legacy he instilled in me, to always be my best self, to love on others, and to serve the people, in whatever capacity that I could. God bless this King.. Until we meet again. It is with a heavy heart that I have to write this as I just knew I had more time to spend with my dear friend. Armando was a little brother to me as my family basically adopted him as their own. Our memories will always be dear to me. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to meet such a beautiful soul in the time span that I did.
