Daishawn Terrell Teasley son of Monique Teasley and Andre McDowell, was born on August 1, 1990 and departed this life on April 18, 2021.

Daishawn loved to live his life to the fullest and he truly loved his family. He was blessed with a loving and caring heart and was the type of person that would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. The good Lord truly blessed Daishawn with a smile that would light up any room. Daishawn loved music and was a talented local rapper. He also enjoyed keeping himself swagged out by wearing some of the trendiest hip hop fashions while being the self-proclaim King of Glenwood Drive. Daishawn also loved spending time with his precious daughter, Aaliyah, who is the apple of his eye and he was definitely the apple of her eyes. Daishawn was a highly intelligent young man and at the age of eleven his IQ tested at the level of someone who obtained a master’s degree. And to know him is to love him. He will truly be missed by his family and friends.

Funeral: Saturday; April 24, 2021 at Words of Restoration Ministries-624 Davis Heights Drive, Gastonia at 2:00 p.m.

Visitation: thirty minutes before the service at the church

Interment: Henry's Chapel Cemetery, Belmont
