Mrs. Fleming was a native Brookhaven, MS and the daughter of the late Walter & Leontin Anding. She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church in Illinois where she taught Sunday School, a Deaconess and Church Mother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Fleming; one sister, Thelma Walker and six brothers, Meredith, Reginald, James, Gregory, Douglas and Donald Anding.
Survivors include one daughter, Olivia Fondren of Elizabethtown, KY; two sons, James Fleming, Jr (Jerleane) of Hanover Park, IL and Alan B. Fleming (Vache) of Freeport, IL; four sisters, Aileen Walker, Mary Hill (Nate), Annette Hardge and Leontyne Adams; one brother, Walter Anding (Laura); eight grandchildren, Brittany Nketsiah (Albert), Jordan Fondren, James Fleming, III, Joshua Fleming, Jeremiah Fleming, Percy Fleming, Essence Fleming and Zion Fleming and six great grandchildren, Olivia Grace Nketsiah, David Nketsiah, Michael Nketsiah, Jordan Fondren, Jr, Ajriene Fleming and Kehlani Fleming.
Funeral service is 11:00 am CST on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Freeport, IL. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport.
