Obituary For Gila Nation

Gila Kay Nation, age 51, a resident of Gadsden, arrived at her Heavenly home on Friday, April 23, 2021, surrounded by loved ones. She was a devoted Follower and had rededicated her life to the Lord, and loved her family, and people in general with the biggest heart. Gila held many titles, and had worked in healthcare, but her favorite title was Mom. Gila is survived by her spouse, Ryan Erwin, Gadsden ; children, Brittany McIntosh, Eminence, KY, Tara (Jason) Floyd, Louisville, KY, Christina, Brett, Alana, and Makayla Erwin, AL; grandchildren, Peyton Chilton, Eminence, KY; Joaquin Matter, Louden, VA, and Allison Erwin, AL; brothers and sisters, Carol Nation, Juletta Childers, Tommy Nation, Jimmy Flowers, and Gary Nation. Gila was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Pauline (Buntain) Nation, her brother, Brian Nation, her sister, Bobbye Nation, and one grandchild, Jordan Chilton.
