Mr. Wiley Ash Jr. Passed away on April 22, 2021 at UAB Hospital. Obituary Mr. Wiley Ash Jr. was born to the late Mr. Wiley Ash Sr. and Mrs. Mable Mathis Ash on December 31, 1950, in Etowah County, Gadsden, Alabama.

Wiley received his education in Gadsden School System. He enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, carpentry,and Alabama football. He was employed at Wayne Poultry in Albertville, where he served as 2nd shift manager for many years. After retiring, he spent time enjoying life to the fullest. He was always the life of the party and every family gatherings, and he enjoyed watching sports with his brothers, sons and close friends. He departed this life on April 22, 2021, at UAB Hospital of Birmingham, Ala. He was preceded in death by his wife Marsha C. Ash; his parents, Mr.& Mrs. Wiley Ash Sr.; Sisters, Ms. Sarah Ash, Ms. Nellie Mae Ash, Brothers, Mr. Donald Ash, and Mr. Jerry Ash. Those left to cherish his memories are: His children, Mr.Andre (Tiffany) Ash, Mr. Antonio Ash, Mr. Antonio Dark, Ms. Wyletha Ash, and Mr. Terrell Glass. Three brothers, Mr. Anthony Ash Sr., Mr. Terry (Rita) Ash, Mr. Christopher (Christi) Ash; Four sisters, Mrs. Emma (William ) McKinney, Mrs. Cynthia (Henry) Nichols, Mrs. Bonita Perry, and Ms. Sheena Ash; Sister-in-law, Mrs. Cassie Ash; Special aunt, Mrs. Irene Ash; Special nieces, Ms. Barbara Turner, Ms. Tarmeka Ash, Ms.Teneisha Ash, Ms. Andremekia Ash, Ms. Shantavian Collins and Ms. Trieste Nichols; Special nephew, Mr. Anthony Ash, Mr. Jermichael Nichols all of Gadsden; Special cousins like a brother, Mr. Kenneth Ray Robinson, Mr. Shelton Shack, and Mr. Bruce Shack; Special friends like a son, Mr. Tracy (Mechelle) Hoyett and Mr. Rodney Gomillion; Special friends, Ms. Yvette Cook and Ms. Yvette Latham and Cedric Veasy; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Memorial Services will be Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 1:00 at the West Gadsden Funeral Home (Betty D. Robinson Chapel) Arrangements under the direction of West Gadsden Funeral Home 256-549-0004
