Laura M. Saunders, 87, of Henrico, died April 22, 2021. Surviving are her daughter, Yasmin S. Roots; son, Willis Saunders; grandson, Eric Whitehead; 2 grandchildren, McKicla and Quinton Whitehead; brother, Williams Meredith; sister, Madeline Spain; devoted nephew, Vernon Meredith; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Monday, May 3 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 4 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Rev. R.
