Nekola G. Lynn Pope, 79, gained her wings on April 22, 2021 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky. She was born January 20, 1942 in Boyle County to the late Frank Guest and Dora Hodgens. Nekola was also preceded in death by James Lynn Sr. and John Pope.
She started her career as a Nurses Aid in Danville, Kentucky. Nekola was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Danville since her early childhood.
Nekola enjoyed worshipping the Lord at church or having her own service when she was unable to attend. She cherished times with family and friends also shopping, playing games, cooking and baking for others. She was loved by everyone who knew her.
She leaved to cherish her memory are her son James Lynn II; two grandchildren, Tenacious Lynn and James Lynn III; two great grandchildren Jaivan White and Kylin Lynn; her sister Helen Guest; also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
