Obituary For Mary Truss

Funeral service for First Lady Mother Mary L. Truss 81, will be Wednesday, April 21, at 1 pm at the Little Jerusalem AFM Church of God, Bishop James Truss, pastor, Dr. Bishop Donice Brown, officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Church Cemetery. Mother Truss passed away on April 14, 2021 at The Village at Cook Springs, Lincoln. Mother Truss was a member and first lady of Little Jerusalem AFM Church of God. Survivors include her husband: Bishop James Truss, Sr.; her son: Billy J. Davis; step children: Elder Danny (Janice) Groce, James (Elida) Truss, Jr., Grindl Truss, Jeanette Truss, Cynthia (Roosevelt) White; sibling: James (Martha) Hill, Lonzo (Shenevlyn) Hill, Alphelia (Wayne) Robbins, Lennette Hill and Richard Rhoden; Godson: Sam Embry; 11 grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
