Mr. Derrick Terrell Liddell, 48, was born January 23, 1973 in Moss Point, Mississippi. He passed away April 26, 2021.

Viewing will be at 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 30, 2021 in Millender's Funeral Chapel; 4412 Main Street, Moss Point, Mississippi.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 1, 2021 in First Baptist Cemetery; Frank Griffin Road, Moss Point, Mississippi.

It is very difficult to type this message after the few days I laid you to rest, but I know you wanted me to remember something after you left. Over the past 2 months, I have been searching for all of your text messages on my phone up until Jan 14th to read to you the days you were at Curahealth to help you remember and focus on things before Jan 16th, and I couldn't find any of them anywhere. I was looking for them for two weeks straight in March. I still couldn't find them. Somehow, on Sunday, May 2nd, those messages popped up on my phone and I reread each of them. After I reread them, I knew your true intentions and your feelings. You had a plan, but for some reason, you couldn't execute that plan and only God knows. That is the hurting part of all of this! As for us, I know we had bad times, but there were some good times sprinkled in there. Those are the ones I will remember and really wanted to focus on remembering the day I laid you to rest. The days when we were in a good place. I guess you magically resent me those messages to remind me of those good days. Miss you and wish you could have been around a little longer to put your plan into action. Love Always, Meek..........
