Ms. Aireona Jackson, 17, of Columbus, GA passed Tuesday, April 27, 2021 in Columbus, GA.
Memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. EST, Saturday, May 15, 2021 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Bishop Harris, officiating. Visitation is Friday, May 14, 2021 from 1 - 5 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.
Ms. Jackson was born January 5, 2004 in Barstow, CA to Coca Chiles and Steven Simmons.
Survivors other than her parents include ten siblings; two aunts, Mary Herbert and Massenia Chiles; two uncles, Derrick Williams and Daquan Chiles; a host of other relatives and friends.

Every so often teachers come across a student who realizes his/her fullest potential and determines to become the best he/she could be. That no matter the circumstances, he/she will silence the critics and unforeseen situations to become exceptional. I had the pleasure of teaching Aireona during my first year in Phenix City three years ago when she was in the 8th grade. She was kind and always very respectful. She worked hard to do her best at everything she set her mind to. I was extremely proud of her efforts and to have been her teacher. Aireona, may your light forever shine.
