I was totally unaware this obituary existed for my brother Rusty. Russell H. Douda, was a Aiken SC native residing in Gadsden AL for the past 16 year's. He was the oldest of 4 children born to the late Roland Jack and Sylvia Louise Reardon Douda on July 19, 1959. He is survived by his loving partner for over 20 years, Pamela Durkin of Gadsden AL, two daughters, Melissa Yvonne Douda, and Amanda Louise Douda Coggsdale(Josh), 3 grand children, Tristan and Bianna Benjamin, and Zoey Coggsdale, all of Virginia Beach, VA. 1 step child Stephanie Austin (Randy), and 3 step grandchildren, Stephen Tyberius Crews, Carson and Dustin Austin all of Gadsden, AL, and a step son, Richard Crews also of Gadsden AL. His 3 siblings, David Douda, Robert Douda, and Denise Douda Lane, all of Aiken SC. He served in the US Navy for 6 year's as an Electronics Technician. He loved his family and will be extremely missed! He loved to ride his Harley, his dogs, fishing, hunting, and having a good time in all he ever did. Fly high our dear brother and rest in eternal peace! We'll meet you on the other side in Heaven!
