Obituary For Mr. James A. Flowers

On April 26th, Mr. James A. Flowers of Panama City, Florida and formerly of Troy, Alabama, passed away peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior at the home of his sister, Mother Annie Smiley in Panama, Florida. He was 83 years old.

He leaves fond and cherished memories with a very loving, caring and devoted sister, and a caregiver for over 40 years, Mother Annie Smiley of Panama City, Florida; loving sister, Johnnie Hazel Canady of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; brother, Jimmy Flowers of Lakeland, Florida; dedicated daily secondary caregivers for support, Elder Joe (Maxie) Smiley, Blondell (Richard) Young and Lady Sara (Pastor Corey) Tobias all of Panama City, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family will receive friends on Friday, April 30th from 2-3 at Greater Faith Spiritual House of Prayer, located at 1904 E 9th Street-Panama City, where Bishop Randy Williams is Pastor

A celebration of James’s life will be held graveside Saturday, May 1st at 2:00p.m. at Hillside Cemetery in Panama City with Elder Joe F. Smiley, Prophetess Barbara Bell, and Bishop Tommy Bell officiating. Interment will follow with arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff at Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna.
