Marian Rita Watkins Brown, 86, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2021. She was preceded in death by two sons, William Leon Brown, Jr. and Stephen Dale Brown. Surviving are her daughter, Gwendolyn L. Walton (George); two sons, Leonard and Carlton Brown; five grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Her remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where a walk-through viewing will be held Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 8 at Scott’s Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Rev. Major Richardson officiating. Interment Watkins Family Cemetery.
