PALMETTO - Funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at St. Matthew Baptist Church in Palmetto, LA for Mr. Clarence Edwards, 70, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at his residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Bishop Leon Figgins, Pastor of St. Matthews Baptist Church, will be officiating the funeral service.

Mr. Edwards leaves to cherish his memories: one sister, Patricia Edwards of Palmetto, LA; one brother, Michael Edwards of Palmetto, LA, two step sons, Brad Curette and Timothy Curette, both of Houston, TX, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his wife, Peggy Edwards, his parents, Paul and Vivian Texada Edwards; one sister, Hilda Blossom; and one step son, Troy Curette.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at St. Matthew Baptist Church.
