Funeral service for Ruth Ethella Mims 89, will be Saturday, May 1, at 1 p.m. at the Anniston Funeral Service Outreach Ministry in the Russell H. Williams Memorial Chapel with Rev. Willie Washington, officiating. Interment will follow in Anniston Memorial Gardens. Mother Mims passed away on April 19, 2021. Survivors include her daughter: Sanquetta (Earl) Duncan; sons: Aubrey (Carolyn) Mims, Terry Mims; grandchildren: Marquetta Holiday- Christian, Quinnota Duncan, Jasmine Hilliard, Keri Williams, Theron Montgomery; great grandchildren: Ti'Asia, Destinee, A'Mia, SeAna, Laila, Laiya, Andreus, Ja'cauri, Ja'Kye, Algaenun; special daughter:Lillie Smith, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Andrew and Pastor Lillie Mae Smith, her husband, Joseph Mims, siblings, Andrew Smith, Jr., Elizabeth Edwards, Jeremiah Smith, Sarah Edwards, Mary Dreuitt, Deborah Norris, Gaynell Miller, Bobby Jean McLane.
