We're so thankful to God for His plan in allowing us to know "MaParker" for the years that we did. Her presence at church with her family was always an added blessing to receive that "heavenly hug" she'd give us each Sunday or to hear her say "I'm praying for the whole world". We were blessed to be able to see how some of God's plan unfolded in/through her life and we were honored to be a part of those chosen to love her. Don & Bonita Barrett

Great-Grandma, I miss you and love you dearly. I will never forget that Spider-Man ring that you faithfully wore everywhere you went, lol. All the more, I can't wait to hear all of the stories about heaven from you when it is my time to come, because I know that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. -Jakhari ❤️

Family, we were so blessed to visit with Aunt Evelyn at the last reunion. She was so energetic and lovely, as we stood outside talking with her and Aunt Ora. No one would ever believe the ages of these two beautiful women. It was a blessing to watch them smile and laugh with each other like young girls. God truly blessed our family and we are with you in sorrow and praying for your strength, but also grateful in celebration of Aunt Evelyn's return to our Lord and Savior! Praise the Lord and lean on Him. HE loves you and we love you too. Lou Harris (Catherine's daughter) and children Ray Anthony, Patricia, Harry Jr., Brian, and Katina

Dear Cousins, you have my prayers in the passing of Aunt Evelyn. I didn't see her that often but I enjoyed seeing her at the Cooper-Waller family reunions. She was always so fashionable and greeted me with a hug and warm beautiful smile. She would say "which one of Mae's children are you." Cousins, you are so blessed to have had your Mom, Grandmom and Great Grandmom so long. It was a blessing that she was here on earth for 97 years! Now she rests with the Lord and is reunited with "Mama" and "Papa," (our grandparents) and my Mom ("Mae Willie") and all her other siblings. May God bless and comfort you at this time. Your cousin, Geraldine Allen June

Grandma you will be missed dearly. Your smile was so bright. Your hugs were so tight. You were always so thoughtful, sweet and kind. I will miss sitting in church hearing you unravel that candy paper. I will miss sitting on that row with you and my Grandad. Everytime I saw you, you would always have on the nicest clothes and your hair would always look gorgeous. You were so beautiful. We are going to miss you so much. We love you-Chantel

To the family, We send our love, warm thoughts and prayers in the passing of Aunt Evelyn. From the time I was a very little boy, and in a few times after, I was able to spend what now seems like just moments with Aunt Evelyn and family. Carvey Harris was my father, and now they and all the great ones who went before, are all celebrating "Up Yonder", somewhere 'round GOD's throne! Glory hallelujah! Love you all and we'll see them again! - Rev. Alen Harris, Sr., Tara and Family.

Aunt Evelyn, I am so thankful that The Lord allowed me the opportunity to spend a little time with you on earth. When I was a little girl you were just a name but by my teens I got to meet you and thought you and grandmom (Catherine) were twins. Your heart was big and so welcoming the first time I met you and it grew bigger ever since. No time is never enough but I give God praise for you 97 years and for blessing me with a beautiful family. To my cousins, thank you for sharing Aunt Evelyn with me and Elois for that last FaceTime call you afforded me to have with Aunt Evelyn. Our condolences and prayers go to you all as there is nothing comparable to losing a mother, especially one like yours. We can rejoice in her salvation and in knowing she is free and now joined with our loved ones and Heavenly Father. I love you and will see you soon❤️

Great Grandma, I dont even know where to begin. All I can say is that you were a Jewel💎, like no other. I have never met anyone else like you, you were a strong woman, ask me how I know, you lived to see 97 years old and birthed 10 children, that is a big deal. I know it's crazy but in my heart I feel you are gone to soon not realizing you were 3 years from being 100. Wow you were an Amazing Women that will always hold a special place in my heart. I didn't realize we have so much in common. You had the sweetest spirit and a love for others and always caring and that is where I get it from. I love being a help to others. Now I see why I have been so overprotective of my kids. I get it from you. It tickles me when it could be warm and you would see a baby and you would say y'all need to put something on that baby's arms and try to cover them up😀 It was your nurturing spirit, deep concern and love for others💖 I am going to miss doing your pedicures👣 and will continue to tell the story of how when I had just started working at the Beauty Spa and your first time being in one of the huge Whirlpool Chairs and I had just finished polishing your toes and you put them back in the water. That was to funny to me, that's my way of now warning my clients not to dare put their feet back into that water after I have finished them🙂 I will miss your smile and I will miss you saying "Help Yourself" when the pastor was preaching. 💐Great Grandma You Will Forever Be Missed & Always Hold A Special Place In My Heart💞💖💔 With Love Always Nikki, Lamont, Devonte, Chantel & CoCoa

Grandma, you did so much for others everyday! I can remember how it was always full of adventure and excitement to go to your house when me and my younger brother didn't have school growing up. You always had food for my big brother to come by eat on his lunch break and it was always enough for a few other family members to come by and eat. You made good egg custard pie, corn pudding, and fried cornbread. So so good! Your strength and feistiness always captivated us because we knew how much family meant to you. I learned from you the importance of doing all that you can for family. My memories of you brings me so much joy and comfort.

- na

Grandma, don't know how to put in words how much you meant to us all. But you made sure each one of us felt how much we meant to you. You were so strong, even through it all. A fighter to the core. That is definitely in us all. As you taught my mom and my aunties, do your part and that's all that matters, and treat people with respect. I'm gonna do my best to continue do just that Gma! I'm going to miss your laugh and hearing you say "shut up Misha" 😂 You're at peace and among the rest of the families angles. We love you Gma. Always and forever 💚

Our chain is broken now. Little did we know that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our heart's to lose you, you didn't go alone; for part of us went with you the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again. Grandma we love you and we miss you a lot. Love Sylvia and Curtis Little
