Tallahassee - Lillian Johnson Reshard, 85 transitioned Friday, April 30 in Tallahassee.

Graveside services will be 11:00 am, Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Shady Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (Barrow Hill), 1478 Chaires Cross road.

Lillian will rest in the mortuary from 11 A.M. to 6 P.M. Friday, May 7, 2021.

Cherishing her love and precious memories, her devoted husband, Deacon Henry Reshard; five sons, Henry Lee Reshard, James (Joyce) Reshard, Kenneth Reshard of Tallahassee, FL; Eddie Hill-Reshard of Atlanta, GA, and John (Sheila) Reshard of Chesapeake, VA; two daughters, Diane Johnson and Tawandra James (Herman) of Tallahassee, FL; two step-sons, Michael Reshard and Derrick Reshard; 18 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; special granddaughter, Chirmekia Jackson who she raised as her daughter; special niece, Mary Alice Fryson who assisted in her care during her final days; four brothers, Otis Johnson (Uralee) of Wilmington, DE, Glover Johnson of Lake Wales, FL, Booker T. Johnson, Jr. (Brenda) of Tallahassee FL and Robert Badger of St. Petersburg, FL; three sisters, Vivian Tucker of Baltimore, MD, Vera Mae Johnson and Geraldine McQueen of Tallahassee, FL; brother in law, Freddie Reshard of Hempstead, NY; sister in laws, Rosa Walker of Tallahassee, FL and Tommie Lee Carr of Hempstead, NY; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.

Whereas our hearts were saddened at the news of the passing of Mrs. Lillian Reshard, the dear and loving Aunt of Lloyd Reshard Sr.; we, therefore, feel it proper to send this Resolution. And, whereas God saw, and He knows; we, therefore, commend you to Him who is able to comfort and console, who will also dry your eyes and heal your broken hearts if you will only put your unwavering faith in Him. Be it resolved that, the Gulf Coast Veterans Advocacy Council, Inc. do extend our heartfelt condolences to this family, and that we bow in humble submission to Him who doeth all things well.
