Graveside Services for Mr. Louis Sanders Jr. 80, of Lilly GA will be Saturday May 8, 2021 at 2:30p.m. by immediate family only at the Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery Byromville, Georgia. Public Visitation will be held Friday May 7 from 3-6 p.m. & Saturday May 8 from 10a.m. - 12p.m.

MR. LOUIS SANDERS of Dooly County, GA, was born July 30, 1940, to the late Mose and Rosie Lee Sanders. He accepted Christ at a young age and was a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church, Lilly, GA. Over his lifetime, he was employed with Gold Kist, Cordele, and later in life, he became a farmer and cement finisher. On Saturday, May 1, 2021, he gained his wings when the Lord called his name. He completed the final chapter of his earthly life and is now in a resting place. He was preceded in death by a wife, Pauline Sanders, a loving companion, Mamie Morrell, father and mother, five children and six siblings. He leaves to cherish his memories: sixteen children, Ms. Rosetta Leggett, Mrs. Loretta (George) Sandiford, Mr. Holsey J. (Phyllis) Sanders, Mr. Lewis (Angela) Sanders, Mrs. Jeanette (Willie) Fields, Ms. Jackie Sanders, Mr. Horace Sanders, Ms. Angela Korshe, Ms. Tammy Morrell, Mrs. Kim Smith, Mrs. Tiffany (Marcus) Clark, Mr. Paul (Kitty) Sanders, Mrs. Natalie (Darrion) Shezer, Ms. Rebecca Sutton, Ms. Roberta Sanders, and Mrs. Wendy (Porfirio) Alarcon; two brothers, Mr. Houisea Sanders and Mr. Jimmy (Pattie Sue) Sanders; two sisters-inlaw, Mrs. Mary Stevenson and Mrs. Earnestine Sanders; 69 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives; and many friends.
