Eric Bernard Harper

On a warm Sunday Evening, Eric Bernard Harper made his appearance into this world. The date was June 30, 1963. He made his departure on Monday, May 3, 2021.

To know Eric was to love him. He truly was one of a kind! He was a survivor and a fighter earning him the nickname from his son as "Soldier".

Eric attended the local school system in Atlanta, Georgia. As an adult, during his working years, he held a variety of jobs; Construction being one of the jobs, and also his favorite. He liked working with his hands.

Eric was preceded in death by is Father and two Brothers: Huit Lee Harper, John Huit

Harper, and Curtis Dale Harper.

His memory will always be cherished by his proud Son, Nicholas J. Harper, his devoted Mother, Mrs. Cora Lee Harper and a loving Stepdaughter Shameka Demps. His memory is further cherished by his four Dedicated Sisters and Brave Brother: Betty L. Elder, Mamie L. Harper, Rufus L Harper (Anita), Patricia A. Harper, and Linda C. Harper.

His Nieces and Nephew will remember their uncle forever: Dawn D. Patterson (Ken), Tabitha D. Stembridge, Torrey O. Stembridge, Temperance L. Harper, Fiona T. Hardy, Krystal S. Ford, and Quashanna S. Peters (Chris).

Eric's great Nieces and Nephews will truly miss him: Sade' D. Stembridge, Shaniah L. Webb, James J. Webb, Jayden D. Webb, Darryn K. Hardy, Jr. and Kaden M. Peters; among a host of other relatives and friends.

A special thanks goes to his sister, Linda C. Harper who looked out for him all of his life; and to Dora and Virginia who were very dear to him.
