Obituary For Jessie Bailey

Jessie Bailey, son of the late Doris Bailey was born on July 29, 1947 in Camp Hill, Alabama. He departed this life on Saturday, April 22, 2021 in Auburn, Alabama.

Jessie, also known as “Pick”, attended J.F. Drake High School in Auburn, AL. Jessie worked in the construction industry most of his adult life. Jessie was a caring and easy-going person who loved fishing. Jessie enjoyed gardening and he loved the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his late wife, Martha Jean-Smith Bailey.

Jessie’s wonderful memories will be forever cherished by: his siblings; Corneal (Dorothy) Bailey of Lithonia, Ga; Willie (Gwendolyn) Bailey of Lawrenceville, Ga; Paul (Angela) Bailey of Tuskegee, AL; Rodney Bailey of Stockbridge, Ga; Aunt, Winnie Ruth McCoy of Camp Hill, AL; nieces, Dondra (James) Griggs of Crofton, MD, Dondrea (Nikia) Grant of McKinney, TX; Kenyetta Bailey of Brooklyn, NY; Chantelle and Kasia Bailey of Lawrenceville, Ga; Jasmine Bailey of Tuskegee, AL; Kayla Bailey of Birmingham, AL; and step daughter Tonia LaShawn Dillard of Auburn, AL; and a host of other family and friends.
