Deacon Homer Lee Grant 76, of Eufaula, AL passed Sunday, May 2, 2021 in Eufaula, AL.

Graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. EST, Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Shady Grove Baptist Church, (Battle Community), Eufaula, AL with Rev. Ike Richardson, officiating. Visitation is Friday, May 7, 2021 from 1-5 p.m. EST. Deacon Grant was born January 13, 1945 in Columbus, GA to the late Clarke Grant and the late Mary Hazel Grant. He was a member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church (Battle Community) and attended Russell County Training School, Hurtsboro, AL. He was formerly employed with Fieldcrest Mill, , Columbus Trade Center and Spring Harbor Nursing Facility.

Survivors include his wife, Victoria Owens Grant; brother, Wadie (Kaha) Sabree, Atlanta, GA; three sisters, Gloria McCant, Philadelphia, PA, Mary L. Henderson, Montgomery, AL and Loretta (Melvin) Hood, Columbus, GA; Rev. Christopher V. Brown, Richmond, VA a devoted nephew that he reared as his own son; a loving niece, Darlene Avery, two loving sisters in law, Minnie (Clinton) Upshaw, Lima, Ohio and Beverly (Min. James) Jackson, Eufaula, AL and a host of other relatives and friends.
