Ms. Sharma Denise Madden,61, of Gadsden, passed away on May 6, 2021

Obituary

Ms. Sharma Madden was born on March 5, 1960 to Earmon & Lucy Madden in Gadsden, AL.

She graduated from Emma Sansom High School in 1978.

She worked as a Nursing Assistant for many years. She also worked at a manufacturing plant in Gadsden, AL.

She accepted Christ at an early age at the Friendship Baptist Church where she was baptized.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Fred Madden as well as her grandparents.

Sharma departed this life on May 6, 2021.

We will cherish her loving memories, her laugh, her love for her family and friends, and her love for caring for the elderly.

Sharma leaves to cherish her memories to: Her parents, Earmon Madden Sr. & Lucy Pearl Madden; Her children, Candice and Kamilah Madden of Atlanta, GA. and Darius Haley of Gadsden, AL; her three grandchildren, her siblings, Earmon Madden Jr., Tim Madden Sr. (Iris) and Marniba Madden, all of Gadsden, AL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Mission Baptist Church.

Public Visitation: Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from 12noon-5pm Eulogist: Reverend Tim Madden Interment: Lincoln Hills Memorial Park.

Sharma and I attended elementary school together and were good friends. We found each other after many years on social media and would communicate as if we had never lost contact with each other.
