MR. SONNY WALKER..... was born in Turner County, Ashburn, Georgia on July 24, 1948 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jalbo and Sally Crockett Walker. He was educated in the Turner County Public School System and graduated from Eureka High and Elementary School, Class of 1967 Eureka Tigers.

At an early age, Sonny gave his life to Christ and joined the New Mt. Olive Baptist Church, where he served as a member of the Usher Board and the Church Announcer. Later in life, Sonny became an Honorary Member of Emmery Chapel A.M.E. Church in Ashburn, Georgia.

Sonny met and married the love of his life, Vera Faye Hicks Walker, on February 15, 1998. They loved each other unconditionally, celebrating twenty-three years of marriage.
