Mr. Michael Black, Sr. of Atlanta, Georgia and formerly of Marianna entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 5th in Atlanta.. He was 62 years old.

He attended the public schools of Jackson County and was a graduate of Marianna High School. After graduation, he moved to Atlanta and worked as an auto mechanic.

Michael leaves cherished memories with one son, Donte Black of Atlanta, Georgia; two sisters, Mary Young of Marianna, Florida and Helen Bullock of Tampa, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00a.m., Saturday, May 22nd at Peoples Funeral Home Chapel with Min. Hardy Hill officiating. Interment of cremains will follow in the Friendship Church Cemetery with arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff at Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna.
