Anniston - Graveside service for Willie C. Evans 84, will be Friday, May 14, at noon at the Anniston Memorial Gardens. Mr. Evans passed away in May 3, 2021 in Georgia. Mr. Evans graduated from the Academy High School in 1956 and receive his Associate Degree from the Central Texas Community College.

He retired from the United States Army after 28 years of service. Survivors include his wife: Dr. Ruby G. Evans, his son: Derek L.(Angel) Cohill, Sr.; daughter: Dr. Dontanette Cohill; grandsons: Derek Lamar, II (Erica), Domonique, Devonte; great grandchildren: Derek Lamar III, Eastyn and Jayce Harlem; siblings: Martha Webster, Amos (Sarah), Andrew (Gail) and Edward Smith, Peggy Barnes Daniels, in-laws, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Eddie Pearl Evans McClure, Annie B (Clemmie Lee) Flowers; Johnny Evans, Leroy Barnes, in-law, Willie Webster.
