Guest Book

Soror Ruby Stroman will be forever in my heart and mind from memories of her strength, courage, and kindness in all she endeavored. She took the time to come see our St. Alban's Congregational Church Inspirational Choir when we visited Hilton Head Island to sing at a local church. She remembered all of us and had a warm hug and beautiful smile. Jacqueline Aiken Jackson

How do you describe a Legend? I looked up a word Mrs. Stroman used quite often to the staff at Head Start. Behoove-it is a duty or responsibility for someone to do something; it is incumbent on. That's what she wanted us to remember! Veronica Smith-Head Start

Her warm smile and lovely family brought back memories of long ago years. I also enjoyed looking at photos of you and your mother on Facebook. She will be missed. You will be in our prayers. I had the pleasure of meeting Ruby when visiting residents with my dog, at the nursing home where she had been living. She was one of my favorite residents to visit! Always such a joyful smile of greeting, and always wishing us blessings. She had such a sharp mind, and I loved listening to her stories about her amazing life. She was a really special lady who will be remembered by many, even those who just met her briefly. Paula Beasley, Volunteer, Hospice Care of the Lowcountry
