Charity Nyarko 68, of Douglasville, Georgia was born March 23, 1949 in Ghana, West Africa to her parents, Mark Atta-Kwabena Nyarko and Rosina Adowa Oforiwah. With her loved ones near, the angels retrieved Ms. Nyarko on October 14, 2017. Her children will welcome guest for the viewing on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the funeral homes chapel, 4405 Marietta St, Powder Springs, GA 30127. The funeral service will be Saturday, October 28, 2017 for 12:00 PM at Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2595 New Macland Rd, Powder Springs, GA 30127. Burial for Ms. Nyarko will follow the funeral service at, Mozley Memorial Gardens, 3180 S. Sweetwater Road, Lithia Springs, GA 30122.

I loved this wonderful woman. She truly lived up to her name. I always remembered when she bore her testimony it was always one of thankfulness in her beautiful accent. She invited me to go to the Accra Ghana Temple dedication but I couldn’t. She gave me a beautiful wooden sculpture of a mother and child. I hesitated giving her anything because she would give you something back if you did and I know she worked hard in her job and had limited income. Her son Mark and I shared the same birthday. So sad for her family but I know she is with her Savior . Lydie Strasburg
