Michelle Ann Littleton Davis

Michelle Ann Littleton Davis was born on June 26, 1967 to James and Vera Littleton in Jackson, Mississippi. Michelle accepted Christ at an early age and joined New McRaven Hill Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Frank James. Michelle loved to sing and was a member of the Gospel Choir. As a song leader for the gospel choir one of her favorite songs was: “God Stood Right By My Side - The Truthettes.”

Michelle attended Westside Elementary School, Timberlawn Elementary School and was a member of JROTC at Siwell Middle School. Michelle graduated from Forest Hill High School Class of 1985. Michelle was gifted by God to be a hairstylist. While in high school, she earned her cosmetologist’s license from the Career Development Center. She loved being a beautician and serving her clients, family and friends. Michelle was employed as a contractor for The Clarion Ledger Newspaper for over twenty years. She also served the public as a Bail Bondsman for over ten years. Michelle was united in holy matrimony to Herman Davis and to this union one child was born. Michelle loved being a wife and mother. She loved watching movies with her daughter Holly and fun times with family and friends. Michelle enjoyed fishing with her husband Herman, eating seafood, traveling and shopping. On Saturday, May 8, 2021, Michelle departed this earthly life at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. Michelle leaves to cherish her memories: her husband: Herman Davis; daughter: Holly Michelle Davis; parents: James and Vera Littleton; two (2) sisters: Shelia Littleton and Beverly Littleton all of Jackson, MS; three (3) brothers-in-law: James Davis Jr., of Clinton, MS; Charles (Mary) Davis of Jackson, MS; Clifton Davis of Clinton, MS; four (4) sisters-in-law: Maxine Turner; Shirley Davis, Dorothy “Dora” Davis all of Clinton MS; Gloria “Lucy” (Benny) Jackson of San Francisco, CA; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., Morning Star Church Cemetery, 11449 Old Port Gipson Road, Learned, MS 39175.
