He honorably served his country as a member of the 25th Infantry Division as a Parachute Rigger during his time in the Vietnam War and received a Bronze Star.
After serving in the military, he begun a career as a truck driver that lasted over forty years. Driving an eighteen wheeler or riding his Harley Davidson, the open road was freeing to him. He always had a smile on his face and everyone that knew him, knew that he had a joke on his lips.
He's preceded in death by his father, William Renix Hoyle, mother, Ruth Hudson Hoyle, sister, Torrience L. Love, and brother, Bill Martin Jr.

McBeth (Tesha), Asheville, NC, Haywood J. McBeth, Charlotte NC. A host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. A special friend and cousin, Victor Hoyle.
