Mrs. Carrie Foushee Burton transitioned from this life on Friday, May 14, 2021. Her funeral will be held 11:30AM on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Woodard Funeral Home Chapel, with visitations starting 30min prior to the service at the chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Woodard Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements.

To my dear friend Virginia and son Wesley. My condolences to you both and the entire family. Mother Carrie was a special woman. She was strong , dedicated, hard working, loving, and kind. She loved you all and she will live on in you through the fond memories you have of such a rich , fulfilling life she lived . MotherCarrie and Virginia was devinely placed in my over thirty years ago. I am so thankful to God for bringing us together. He knew I needed a sister' and mother at that time . He also knew that my son needed a brother / friend (Wesley). This Mother and daughter duo showed us nothing but love . They remind me of Lois and Eunice in 2 Timothy 1:5 women of strong faith. Teaching Wesley what is meant to live by faith and godly standards. Rest on Mother Carrie you have completed your assignment on this side ! One day we all will meet up in Heaven for that great Family Reunion with Our Heavenly Father, our lord and savior Jesus Christ! Family, hold on to God's unchanging hand .
