Three Scores and Ten plus four is the time the Lord blessed us with Lois Jean Sharp and we are so grateful he did. She was born on April 7, 1947 to the late Ms. Dora Lee Mott and Mr. Willie Pate (Almurtha) Heard in Lee County, Alabama.
She attended Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church and later moved her membership to Phillips Temple C.M.E. where she was a faithful member. A true missionary as she was always inviting everybody to Friends and Family Day.
Lois graduated from South Girard High School where she was a Cheerleader, Miss FBLA, Most Attractive, and was on the Blue Streak Court. She was a proud participating member of the Class of 1965 Alumni where she worked on the class reunion committee and attended every event. She worked at Fieldcrest Cannon Mill for over 40 years and ended her working days as a Foster Grandparent at Ridgecrest Elementary School. She loved family gatherings, shopping, watching Gunsmoke, and most of all her pride and joy, her two sons. She departed this life on May 18, 2021.
