Hey Chica, I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. What helped me was knowing that my father achieved what he wanted out of this life. He lived the life he wanted and was happy. He is never truly gone because of good times you remember and of the little pieces of him you see in yourself and the children. I am always here. Love Stephanie

So let us believe that this is the best time for him to return to his maker. He lived a good life, let us give thanks to God knowing he is in a better place. Col Odebumi was a unique man. We all call him Daddy in my house. He was our landlord, Father and Friend all at the same time. A highly cosmopolitan gentle man, with good exposure. He has no airs and was a humble man who enjoys the company of his subordinates. We will surely miss Daddy, All my children, especially Obi, Ada and Uzo would surely miss him. He sings and plays with Obi when he was just 2 yrs old. May God accept his gentle soul . Osita Udoyeh & Family

Colonel as we all simply call him is a long time family friend to my elder brother, Alhaji Ibrahim Hamza. Their relationship was so cordial and it spanned close to 40 years. The way I know them, he was everything to my elder brother and he revered Colonel a lot. Little wonder, Colonel was the chairman of my wedding on the 24th of June 1994 at the Airforce officers mess in the Ikeja base. I visited him severally in the company of my brother and he was such a gentle, kind hearted and ever ready to help gentleman and an officer. We will all miss him. May his soul rest peacefully with the Lord and may He comfort and console the families he left behind. Adieu sir.
