Guest Book

My Husband and I have very heavy hearts stunned to hear of the passing of Lady Joyce Rodgers. We both were so blessed by God to hear Lady Joyce Rogers minister to us here in Los Angeles at the West Angeles church of God in Christ for a few years at Watch Night Services. Lady Rodgers would have my husband and I sitting on the edge of our seats taking in every word. When we left the service the anointing was in our home for days. Lady Rodgers was a force to be reckon with. Her Beauty radiated inside and out truly a class act. Lady Rogers was a special agent from God chosen for such a time as this. My heart goes out to her brother Supervisor Melton Timmons and the Rodgers family. My husband and I will be praying for you know that you are loved. I have been listing to the song yes Lord Come what May, to give me strength. God Bless the entire Church of God in Christ during this very sorrowful season. Lady Joyce Rogers rest well see you in Glory. We Thank God for sending you into our lives. Paul and Natalie Mallard

I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. John 17:4

- na

I heard Joyce Rodgers preach at a conference in Dallas in 2015. I was at a low point in life. She spoke a Word of the Lord that changed my situation. I always believed that the Holy Spirit gave her the words I needed to hear. She literally said my first name in the sermon to let me know that God cared for me. I never met her personally, but I did write her a letter about that God moment. She was an awesome woman of God and will be missed. Sandra from North Carolina

My deepest condolences; the loss of Minister Rodgers ; was one which made me pause. We met over 20 years ago and would visit when she was in denton after the women's program at St.Andrew or run into each other's at brookshire. When I was going through a challenging time she gave me her first copy of Fatal attraction and wrote a special note in it. She would always tell me how she liked my gap and we would laugh about it. I always look forward to catching her when she was in Denton. I am truly saddened but rejoice because she gave her all to Christ and her assignment. Minister Joyce I will miss you because you had a impact on all you met! Your friend Minister Barbara Owens Will see you at the gate on day.

My heart and prayers goes out to the family and those who knew this beautiful soul personally. Blessing and peace to you all.

Words can't express the feelings that I have, but God is on control of Everything. I remember when i first met Evangelist Rogers years ago at a tent Revival on Mitchell Blvd in Fort Worth TX. Evangelist Rogers was with Elder Mitchell from St. ANDREWS in Denton, TX. We were in a 21 days Revival. Elder Mitchell would preach one night then she would preach the next. Souls were saved, heal and delivered. I will never forget those 21 Day-Evanglist Rogers told me just let God have his way with me and everything else will fall in line so every since that day everything has felt in line. I'm grateful for knowing such a woman of God that took a stand. I will always remember her and the love of God she has shown us throughout the years of her God given life. Hebrews 12:1-2 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Supervisor Joyce Rodgers you ran a great race, and as you ran your race, you touch the hearts and minds of so, so, many people, and I just happened to be one of them.
