James "Bro"Johnson, born 11 January 1944 in New Bern, NC died at age 77 years old on Friday, 14 May 2021 at Abington Jefferson Hospital in Abington, PA.

Services will be held in Willow Grove, PA in July 2021. The date and time to be announced at a later date.

James was predeceased by his father, Jim Johnson; mother ,Deloris Melba Bell-Johnson and brothers, Edward "Wolf" Johnson and Thomas Johnson. James is survived by his wife, Deborah, Willow Grove, PA; step-mom, Jackie Johnson, Absecon, NJ; son, Rodney Johnson (Antoinette), Peoria, IL; daughter, Lakeesha Johnson, Willow Grove, PA; step-son, Vaughn Drayton, Mount Airy, PA; step-daughters, Keisha Sims and Eugenia Twyman, both of Willow Grove, PA; three sisters, Jacqueline Johnson, Glenside, PA; Claudia Perry (George), Greenville, NC; Cheryl Glover, Absecon, NJ; five brothers, Ronald Johnson (Hazel), Jacksonville, FL; Charles "Poke" Johnson, New Bern, NC; Stephen "TT" Johnson, Wilmington, DE; Ralph Moore, Strawberry Mansion, PA; Andre Johnson (Cecelia), Laurel, MD; and three step-brothers, Anthony Johnson, Absecon, NJ; Richard Lewis, Aberdeen, MD; and Curtis Jarvis, Pamlico County, NC; also left to mourn are James' six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
