Rodney Hackney, 38 of Fuquay-Varina, NC passed on May 23, 2021 in Harnett County, NC. Rodney beautiful life will always be cherished by his loving mother; Darlene Farrar and devoted stepfather Leon Farrar who raised him for most of his life, two son; Jamil and Rhonney Hackney, one daughter; Daijah Finch, four sister; Ashley Ward (Tremayne), Yolanda Lassiter, Jasmine Crump, and Breckney Montague, two brothers; Roderick McDuffie and Jrovier Smith, grandmothers; Nora Hill and Beatrice Farrar, seven aunts, five great aunts, six uncle and 1 great uncle and a host of cousin and friends. Special friends Kimberly Oquendo, Ginger Morris, Chastity Finch and LaTonya Owens.

Visitation: 4:00 - 6:00 pm Monday, May 31, 2021 at Trice Funeral Home Chapel, 127 N. West Street in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526, with no more than 10 individual inside at one time.

Funeral will be held 11:00 Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 2520 Richardson Rd in Apex, NC 27502.

Mask are required in order to attend the visitation and funeral service.
