Obituary For Tanya Brown

Tanya was born in New York City on June 20, 1962, to Jacquelyn Porter and Albert Burton, and departed life suddenly on May 16, 2021. Tanya was a deeply caring person and her concern for the well being of others led her to pursue a career in the home health care services. She worked diligently for four years with the Esperanza Center supporting individuals with disabilities, and for the last eleven years, she was employed with the Visiting Nurse Service Partners in Care. Tanya brought an infectious joy to her workplace and is remembered for supporting her clients with passion and dignity.

Tanya leaves to cherish her memory, her three children, Terrell, Sean, Amber; one brother, Derrik (Dawn); a special cousin and confidant, Valerie (Claude); one aunt, Josephine; nine grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
