Obituary For Jerry Allen Footman

Jerry Allen Footman was born on March 3, 1958 in Gifford, FL to James Footman, Sr. and Minnie Footman.

A resident of Gifford, FL, Jerry received his education from Vero Beach High. Jerry was the owner and operator of Jerry & Son’s Lawn Service. Jerry was outgoing, full of energy, and a heart of gold. Jerry was a member of Miracle Prayer Temple Worship Center in Fort Pierce, FL.

On Friday, May 21, 2021, Jerry closed his eyes and slept away at Cleveland Clinic Hospital of Vero Beach, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Footman and Minnie Footman and his brother, Leroy Footman.

Those left to cherish Jerry’s memories are his loving wife, Janice Robinson-Footman; daughters, Lori Footman, Quanessa Footman, Hope(Brandon)Walker, and Ashley Lewis all of Gifford, FL, Rodnicka Robinson and Brittany Cobb of Fort Pierce, FL; sons, Jerry Footman III and Jordan Gamble of Gifford, FL and Jervious Robinson of Fort Pierce, FL; sisters, Pricilla(Eugene)Germany of Augusta, GA, Shirley and Betty Footman of Gifford, FL; brothers, Willie Footman, Benny Footman, Nicholas Footman, Thomas Footman, and George Footman all of Fort Pierce, FL; mother-in-law, Mary Everett; brothers-in-law, Elzia(Gloria), Henry(Claretha), Larry, Luther, and Derrick all of Fort Pierce, FL; sisters-in-law, Patricia, Sandra, Barbara, and Cynthia all of Fort Pierce, FL; 23 greandchildren; 1 great grandson, Kaden Footman; goddaughter, Kyesha Walker; a special friend, Susan; and a host of loving and supportive nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and sorrowing friends who will miss him deeply.

Public viewing for Jerry Allen Footman will take place on Friday, May 28, 2021 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral Services will convene on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Immanuel Full Gospel Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 1:00pm. Burial will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Although many venues have opened and the restrictions of COVID-19 have been relaxed, we at Stone Brothers Funeral Homes are still enforcing the guidelines set forth by the CDC and FDOH to protect our families and our staff. Oh how I will Brother Footman. His words of wisdom, remembering him from the Men's Choir and especially the fire under his feet when the spirit hit him. His praise was awesome. We will miss Bro. Footman dearly, but where he is, he's probably shouting up a storm down the heavenly Soul Paved of Hold Line. Love you and especially Sis. Janice.
