Obituary For Miss April Michelle Lowery

April Michelle Lowery was born on February 16, 1979 in Augusta, Georgia to Ann Holliman Lowery and the late Alonzo Lowery. April was baptized at Beulah Grove Baptist Church, Augusta, Georgia, at an early age and sang in the B. I. Vernon Gospel Choir. April was a product of Richmond County Schools and a proud 1997 graduate of T.W. Josey High School. She also attended Paine College before departing Augusta to reside in Smyrna, GA. April was employed by Cancer Treatment Center of America in Newnan, GA. She loved her job, staff and patients. April poured her heart and soul into her beautiful daughter Mariah Olivia Harris. April departed suddenly this life on May 24, 2021 at her residence in Smyrna, GA. She is predeceased by her father, Alonzo Lowery; aunts, Ida Mae Holliman, Dorothy Ivory, and Thomasine Kyler; uncles, Thomas Holman, Joe Lewis Holliman and Richard Holliman. She is survived by her loving daughter, Mariah Olivia Harris; her devoted mother, Ann Holliman Lowery; her beloved brother, Kenneth (Tara) Lee; five aunts, Luvenia Holmes, Benita Lee, Dorothy (Prince) Burley, Frances Cartwright and Mattie Lowery; two uncles, Willie Holliman and Thomas Lowery; her two best friends, Candice Holmes and Deetriss Tucker and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Walker Memorial Park, 611 Laney Walker Boulevard, Augusta, Georgia.
